چکیده
Oakleaf hydrangea ( Hydrangea quercifolia Bartr.) is an understory shrub native to the southeastern United States. Hydrangeas are popular ornamental landscape plants; however, little known about diversity in horticulturally important traits for oakleaf hydrangea. Information regarding variation could guide future breeding efforts species. Seed was collected from 55 populations throughout range of species purpose conducting a horticultural characterization compared with select cultivars. Plant architecture characterized as plant height, number nodes, internode length, branches, and width. measured container-grown field-grown plants two locations (Minnesota Tennessee). Tolerance leaf spot Xanthomonas campestris L.) wild-collected seedlings cultivars by measuring disease severity under exposure ambient inoculum. Cold hardiness during winters controlled freezing experiment. During first winter, were tested January; second monthly October through April. varied environment, growing larger Tennessee than Minnesota. The heights correlated collection site latitude (r = −0.66), northeastern extent being most compact, Florida tallest. Leaf significantly among also 0.70). Two identified sources high tolerance spot, whereas ‘Flemygea’ ‘Alice’ having moderate spot. months winter. overall maximum cold observed February [mean lethal temperature (LT 50 ) −33.7 °C], several maintained extreme level into late Midwinter −0.65), northern showing higher levels hardiness. These results indicate that certain wild will be useful introgressing novel programs.

Coselected genes determine adaptive variation in herbivore resistance throughout the native range of Arabidopsis thaliana.
The "mustard oil bomb" is a major defense mechanism in the Brassicaceae, which includes crops such as canola and the model plant Arabidopsis thaliana. These plants produce and store blends of amino acid-derived secondary metabolites called glucosinolates. Upon tissue rupture by natural enemies, the myrosinase enzyme hydrolyses glucosinolates, releasing defense molecules. Brassicaceae display ex...

this thesis aims to adduce an unmitigated and comprehensive explication concerning the relationship of three significant elements of fiction: setting, chracter and theme. my research is basically placed on two outstanding novels of the 19th century: emily brontes wuthering heights and thomas hardys return of the native. my endeavour lies in studying the correlation among the three above-mention...
15 صفحه اولCytogenetical Analysis of Iranian Wild Almond Species
In this study, the karyo-systematic studies on the Iranian wild almond species A .communis L., A. corduchoruom Bornm., A. trichamygdalus woronow, Amygdalus lycioides Var. horrida Spach were done by the karyological methods. The meristem cells of the root tip were used for these studies. In each species, ten suitable metaphase plates were chosen and photographed so that the morphology of the chr...
متن کاملIdentification of aluminum species in an aluminum-accumulating plant, hydrangea (Hydrangea macrophylla), by electrospray ionization mass spectrometry.
The use of electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (ESI-MS) in negative ion mode was investigated as a direct probe for identifying Al species in Al-accumulating hydrangea (Hydrangea macrophylla) samples. Cell sap solutions of hydrangea leaves were purified using Sephadex G-10 liquid chromatography and each fraction was analyzed using ESI-MS and ESI-MS/MS to identify Al species. In hydrangea ...
